Overview

The Ford Ranger was completely redesigned for 2024 and carries that momentum into the 2025 model year with a more capable, more refined midsize truck. The new generation features a fully boxed ladder frame, larger dimensions, and a more powerful standard engine that make it a genuine competitor for buyers who want truck capability in a more manageable package than a full-size F-150.

The Ranger's single engine offering is a 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder that punches well above its displacement, producing 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque through a 10-speed automatic. With available four-wheel drive and an optional off-road Tremor package, the Ranger can handle serious trail work while remaining comfortable enough for a daily commute.

Inside, the Ranger cabin has taken a major step forward with an available 12-inch center touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and premium materials that elevate it beyond its workhorse roots. The bed features zone lighting, a 400-watt outlet, and available bed rack system for maximum versatility.
